Jatinder Koharki

I was born in Punjab, India and moved to Queens, NY with my family at the age of ten. By the time I

earned a Bachelor of Science in Managment from Binghamton University in 2004, I had ten floppy disks

of poems and short stories that fell victim to the 21st century tech cleaning when floppies became uncool.

In early 2023, I transitioned from a twenty-year career in Consulting to one in Client Relationship

Management and embarked on a parallel journey to build a career in writing and publishing. Two years

later, I am the founder and proud owner of Book for Every Nook Publications LLC, with a goal to self-

publish my books, starting with my debut Women's Fiction novel, Against the Odds of Tradition.

In 2008, I took a short break from work and “ran away” to Pennsylvania State University for an MBA. My

goal was to avoid the topics of marriage and arranged matchmaking as I approached the unmarried

woman cliff of age 25 dreaded by most Indian parents of my generation. Who did I end up running into in

my attempt to run away? My husband of over twelve years now. That's life for you!
